Pricing changes | Dayton and Cincinnati Ohio Photographer

It was hard to switch my pricing again but I had to. I switched from all inclusive digital and session collections to the session fee pricing. I couldn’t keep shooting and burning. So many of my past clients just have their wonderful images just sitting on a disc in their home. They never get around to printing them, them selves. When a client hires me it is for my artistic talent, my expertise and to help them get the most out of their session. Only selling the digitals does not do that. After reading this article here,  I realized that it bothered me selling only the digitals. I love my work in print, whether big on your wall or in an amazing heirloom album. This is how your portraits should be displayed from a professional.

I know I may loose some clients over this but I must do what makes my heart happy and seeing my work printed and my clients happy with their wonderful art to display in their home makes me that way. Don’t worry you can still get digitals of your portraits.

I hope this and the article linked here inspires some other photographers to take the step to offer their clients more then images sitting in a draw on a disc. I look forward to this new change to my business and all it has to bring.
